Day: |
First Monday of the
Month |
|
Time: |
6:00 pm to 8:00 pm followed by Q&A |
- The focus of this SIG is beginning data normalization, expression building, and forms coding.
- Presentations will be in Access 97 through 2003
- Where appropriate the differences between the versions will be
addressed by the presenter.
Classes are fairly informal, giving new users a chance to participate at entry level. Users should be familiar with how to open and close Access, how to switch between display and design views, and the location of File, Query, Form, and Report windows. Familiarity with use of the QBE window is helpful. We expand skills using demonstrations and talk about ways to analyze business situations, organize table & query architecture, to turn real-world situations into effective databases using Access rapid design techniques.
Meeting location - Computer Lab 1
