Though odd looking by today's standards, this 1000cc, 1955 Vincent Black Knight is quite a head turner. It was in mint condition. Was this meant to be the worlds first sport-tourer with it's fully faired design? These did not sell well so only 225 were made. After the less than stellar commercial performance of the bike, Vincent gave up the idea of an enclosed motorcycle. Obviously an idea a bit ahead of its time.

Another view of the 1955 Vincent Black Knight. One of the cooler features of this bike was a hand operated center stand.

Just to show that the museum is not dominated by liter class bikes, this 1948 Whizzer was advertised as America's thriftiest transportation at only $97.55.
