Hands-On Google Searches

HANDS-ON GOOGLE SEARCHES Frustrated searching for information on the web or just don't know where to start? Google is one of the premier search engines for looking up information on the internet. Learn to do a better search and be introduced to some of Goggle's specialized searches and tools. This class is modeled after the Google Special Event given by HAL-PC last summer. First session will cover Basic search techniques and Special Searches such as Images, Groups, Directory, & News. The second session will cover more Advanced Searches, Setting Preferences, Google Labs, and other Google Services.

Registration fee is $20 for members, $40 for non-members
