Quickbooks 2002
QuickBooks is Easy to Learn, Use and Customize, even if you don't have very much experience with computers or accounting.
Let's face it, QuickBooks is the most widely used accounting software package in the United States. It is also the most widely misused accounting software. QuickBooks is everywhere. It is used by more than 2.8 million businesses. If you are an inexperienced user or you are a novice, it's time that you mastered QuickBooks once and for all.
In this two-part course, you will learn how to use QuickBooks to its fullest potential. You will learn what to watch out for, how to maximize the capabilities of QuickBooks, and how to avoid the mistakes that can wreak havoc on accounting data.
Students will have the opportunity to learn and use skills using a practice company. In Class 1, students will learn how to open and close a company in QuickBooks. A
chart of accounts will be customized. Vendors and Customers will be added.
Cash and accounts receivable sales will be processed. Purchases and
inventory will be processed. In Class 2, Students will learn how to pay
bills, write checks and manage bank accounts. Payroll will be covered.
Reports and graphs will be generated. Budgets will be input, edited and
compared. Data sharing and backup will also be covered.
