The default settings for this page should work fine for HALNet.
Cookies: Many sites on the Internet may want to store a cookie on your system to keep information about what you have viewed on their site, so you can be directed to updated content, etc. the next time you re-visit them. If the site requires a user ID and password they can also store that in a cookie so you do not have to re-enter it every time you re-visit them. MSIE.4 lets you choose to accept or reject cookies or receive a warning before it lets a site send you a cookie.
Searching:
Autoscan common root domains: If you enter the wrong root domain (ex: .com
instead of .org for hal-pc.org) MSIE.4 will check the common root domains
(.com .edu .org .gov) and suggest a possible match.
HTTP 1.1 Settings: Hyper Text Transport Protocol
Use HTTP 1.1: If this is checked MSIE.4 will use HTTP Version 1.1 to connect to
web sites, if un-checked it will use Version 1.0. Some sites may still use Version 1.0 so
if you have trouble connecting to them try unchecking this option.
