How To Test A Phone Line Using HyperTerminal

Next enter the phone number 713-693-0399 (HALNet line test number).

Note: If you have another phone number you wish to use (other than the number above) to connect to other line testing equipment, BBS's, etc., it may be entered into this box.

When entered, click OK.

The following box will then appear.

At this point you may either click DIAL to have it call the HALNet line test.

Note: If you wish to enter modem commands and dial MANUALLY, then click Cancel to bring up the White HyperTerminal screen with the flashing cursor.
