Click on the diagnostics tab. 
The above box will be shown with COM1 already highlighted. Click on the COM PORT beside your listed modem (COM2 in this example) so it will be highlighted, then click on More Info. A dialog box will come up stating it is Communicating with the modem and it may take a few minutes. |
