Click on the Connection tab.

Above are the typical settings for this screen. Normally the Call Preferences have darkened text and are checkable. (They are grey and not accessible in this example)

“Wait for dial tone before dialing” is normally checked (although it does not have to be).

“Cancel the call if not connected within 60 secs” is the standard setting.

“Disconnect a call if idle for more than __ mins” is normally left blank.

Now click the Advanced… box.
