Front Desk Volunteers

We need Volunteers to staff the front desk. Front Desk staffed from 9am to 9pm. Call and specify the hours you would like to volunteer. We will train all who need training. Will be answering phones, routing calls, taking messages, and signing up new members. Just one day a month would really help!

Special Events

Volunteers needed to help at special events at HAL and abroad. Must be friendly and work well with people. Will be working HAL sponsored parties, trade shows, and special meetings.

Saturday Volunteers

Experienced computer users are needed to help in Lab II for the Saturday Workshop. If you are new to computers and would like to learn a lot, quick, come down and watch us at work. Then try your hand at it. Remember, HAL-PC was founded on members helping members.

Office (Clear Lake)

We need volunteers to staff the office at the HAL-PC Satellite Center in the Clear Lake area. Duties include answering phone, registering people in classes, signing-up new and renewal members to HAL-PC. Signing-up new and renewal HALNet users. No experience necessary. We will train you. Written office procedures will guide you. Experience people available to help with the tough questions.
