This SIG isa forum focused on the technical aspects of developing applications inDomino and in native Notes. Issues covered are emerging technologies suchas eSuite's Devpack, the use of JAVA and JavaBeans. Not to be overlooked iscurrent Notes technologies such as LotusScript. As the complexity ofcreating Notes applications increases, this group's focus will be toprovide as much technical information and discussion in order to helpdevelopers gain additional insight and skills to be productive in theirendeavors.

Lotus Notes is a client/server platform for developing and deployinggroupware applications. It combines an application development environment,a document database and a sophisticated messaging system.

Domino isa web server application that combines the power of Lotus Notes with thereach of the web.

The HAL-PC Lotus Notes SIG meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month,6:30 PM at HAL-PC HQ.

May's meeting, will be a continuation of building upon our web site application by introducing the outline designer. This is a new design element introduced in Domino R5. We will learn how and where to apply this new element.

Stay tuned for a link to our on-going development project, A SIG Domino site. This site is being developed as a by-product of the monthly sessions. Soon we will have a link to thesite so that attandees and anyone interested can see the work-in-progress.
