Troubleshooting Computers Down To Component Level
Troubleshooting any electronic circuit

Can be done with only schematic if there available
data sheets for main components on circuit boards.
If data sheets are not at hand. The I.C. Master lists the
names of companies If you can get the manufacture's
data books do so!
In the data books you may find application notes.
Those application notes will tell you a lot about how a part
may be used, thereby can tell you how a component is working
in your circuit.
