"The Descendants of Henry Canup and Eve Earnhardt" Henry and Eve are the parents of Milas A. Canup who lost his life in the Civil War. Milas married Elizabeth Agner in Rowan County, North Carolina. This union produced three boys, John Adam, Henry Issac, and Daniel Columbus. After Milas' death, his widow married Caleb Kluttz in Rowan County, North Carolina. They left North Carolina and moved to Rockwall County Texas. Most of the Canup families in Texas are descended from the three Canup brothers. The book "Descendants of Henry Canup and Eve Earnhardt" covers eight generations of Henry's descendants and is 405 pages long. Each descendant has an individual page on which additional genealogical data can be added. The Introduction gives the reasons that the German migration to America took place.
