November 18th Pro-Democracy Protest in Houston
Houston protest a success, despite terrible weather!

Just a note about the Pro-Democracy Rally today....
It was COLD, It was WET, It was windy..... And yet, we had
a GREAT Rally today in Tranquility Park! Approximately 40 people showed up
in the cold, rainy weather ( I heard we had wind chills in the 30's today)
to support the democratic process of re-counting the ballots in Florida! It
was so exciting to participate in the "making of history." One person dressed
as a crowned G. "Dubyah" Bush outfit... "Long Live the King." We were interviewed
by newspapers (Chronicle & Community), TV stations, and of course, Dalton
was there to take pictures! Thank you, Dalton!
We had a few counter-protesters to contend with, but, their
presence only made the excitement of our event even greater. (Besides, we
had our very own "King George!")
Mark your calendars for next Sunday, 1:00 PM. We are planning
another rally. Details will be announced first part of next week.
If you are interested in traveling to Tallahassee, in the event
that a "national" rally is planned, contact us at the Houston discussion board:

"Thank you" to everyone who supported our efforts today!
Best Regards, Dan
