Letters from the River

   Keith Bowden
Keith Bowden of Laredo is currently on the Rio Grande in the midst of a journey that covers the length of the river in Texas (at least, most of it). Keith began his Rio Grande trip in mid-December by biking from the eastern edge of El Paso to Presidio via the backroads of Texas and Mexico. At Presidio, he began a river paddle down to La Linda where he has re-supplied for the next segment. His present itinerary includes the Lower Canyons and Lake Amistad. From there, he begins the long run through south Texas to the Gulf. I will be posting Keith's subsequent reports as I receive them.
