TexSTOC (Texas ST Owners Club) Prime was an unofficial extension of TexSTOC '01 which was held September 28th through 30th, 2001 in the Texas Hill Country. A few of us that could get the additional time off from work decided that just three days of riding was not enough. We needed more! So, TexSTOC Prime was born and took place immediately after TexSTOC '01 in the mountainous desert terrain of Big Bend National Park and surrounding areas. The park is a very dry, harsh place full of twisties and great winding sweepers through the most spectacular scenery imaginable. The pictures on the following pages taken by Ken Buffington, Tomas Perez and myself will try and give you a taste of this incredibly beautiful land. Unfortunately, the best pictures are in our memory because photos just can't do this region justice. It has to be seen and experienced. Enjoy.
