Digital Imaging SIG meets the third Saturday of the month from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. We have been doing presentations on digital imaging that run the full range of everything digital. Each month, we cover topics of interest to the people attending. We also take request for topics. We have been concentrating on the use of Photoshop, but recently have branched to the use of Lightroom also. Each month we will be trying to cover something that you will need your camera for. The Robotics SIG was formed to investigate what's going on in this fast-changing field. The group intends to take a step-by-step look at how to build and program robots and how to participate in or observe on-going nearby robotics competitions. This is a two-hour session for presentations and discussions. The SIG also meets for a four-hour lab session on the 4th Saturday for lab work, individual instruction, assembly, programming, etc.

Samba is the free software program that allows Unix computers to join MS Windows Workgroups & Domains. Samba is applicable to both the business user an the home network. This SIG is working through the examples in the book Samba 3 by Example. The SIG also covers hybrid and open source networking.
