The Telephone Help Committee is a group of volunteers who are specialists in one or more aspects of personal computing. These volunteers list their name in the HAL-PC Magazine together with a telephone number with the time and days when they are available for consultation. Their services are open to all members of HAL-PC at no charge.
To use this service, look in latest issue of the HAL-PC Magazine to find the category for which you need help. Select the name(s) of a member volunteer. Look at the alphabetized list on the opposite page for phone numbers and calling times. You'll be pleasantly surprised by the high degree of technical knowledge displayed by these volunteers.
If you do not have access to a HAL magazine, email the webmaster to request a help committee list. Put 'Help Committee List Request' in the subject line, and provide your name and member number.
