Changes in How Payments Are Made

A small percentage of individuals who use our services will observe the below three changes effecting how payments are made. If you have any questions or concerns you should feel free to contact our considerate staff that are there to help you.

1. The use of charge cards by American Express, Discover and Pay Pal requires special processing with which our busy staff can no-longer successfully comply. As a result, effective immediately, these charge cards will no longer be accepted. If you are currently using auto-renew for services we will continue to honor your charge card for those services, until the card expires or the service is discontinued.
2. The on-line ability to pay for services provided by HAL is, effective immediately, discontinued. The aged legacy system that allows this process to occur is causing confusion and errors, which have inconvenienced a few of our members. The HAL office staff will now process the charges that the on-line system once processed. The phone number is 713-993-3300.
3. Effective immediately, charges of less than ten dollars ($10.00) will not be accepted. If a service you are using is valued at less than ten dollars, you may make payment in advance to extend the service to bring your total up to the minimum ten-dollar limit.
