Click on DNS Configuration tab.

Note! If you have another Internet provider this should be set to DISABLE DNS so the DIAL-UP NETWORKING settings of HALNet and your other provider can be used.

Normally, this can be left on DISABLE DNS and work properly. However, if you are having connection problems and you DO NOT have another internet provider (or you do and you wish to perform a test) put the following information in.

Choose Enable DNS (dotted).

In Host:, put your HALNet username, NOT username @hal-pc.org which is your E-Mail address. (lowercase)

In the Domain: put hal-pc.org (lowercase).

Under DNS Server Search Order, click on the area before the first period and type in: 204 (it should now jump over the period) 52 then press the spacebar 135 then in the last section 2 should be entered. It should look like 204.52.135.2 and if so click on Add. The number should appear below in the larger white box.

Again click on the area before the first period and type in: 204 52 (spacebar) 135 1 for the second set of numbers. It should look like 204.52.135.1 and if so click on Add. It too should appear under the 204.52.135.2 numbers.
