HAL-PC Headquarters

HAL-PC's offices and resource center are located at our spacious and conveniently located headquarters at 4543 Post Oak Place Drive, Suite 200. The 8000 square foot suite houses facilities for meetings and events, classrooms, administrative and technical support offices, the HALNet internet system, a member lounge, workrooms and computer laboratories.

Your HAL-PC membership card will provide access to the elevators, main suite entrance and classroom. Ample covered parking is available under the building. Regular office hours are 9am - 9pm Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm Saturday. The office phone number is (713) 993-3300.

Meeting and Event Spaces

Headquarters Atrium

Special Interest Groups are held in three meeting rooms equipped with internet access, computers for presentations connected to projection systems, sound systems, white boards and separately controlled area lighting. Two of the meeting rooms can be combined to provide a single space of more than 2000 square feet. HAL also has access to the common areas including a terrace courtyard and atrium for special events. HAL makes the meeting spaces in its suite available to area groups for a reasonable fee on a space-available basis. Contact member services for details.

Lab

Our internet lab has 12 networked computer stations and provides internet access to members during regular business hours. This lab is also equipped with an instructor console with overhead projection and may be used for classes or presentations.

Workshop

HAL-PC's computer workroom provides space for installation and configuration workshops, game LAN parties, hands-on A+ certification labs and PC troubleshooting and repair sessions. Ample work space and network connections are available.

Computer Classroom

Our computer classes are held in a state-of-the-art classroom with individual workstations for up to 12 students, an instructor console connected to an overhead projection system, whiteboard and separately controlled area lighting. All computers are networked to the internet.

Member Lounge

Our spacious member lounge provides a comfortable resting place for socializing during class or meeting breaks. The lounge is equipped with coffee makers, soda and snack vending machines, a refrigerator and microwave, as well as tables, chairs and couches.

Conference Room

HAL's conference room features a marble conference table with space for 15, comfortable chairs, whiteboard, telephone and network access.

HALNet Suite

HALNet's internet access equipment is located in a spacious, climate-controlled environment, with all lights, power and air conditioning backed up by UPS and a generator that will provide 24-hour power, even if the power to the building completely dies. The internet suite has a secure entrance and programming lab/office space for its staff.

Administrative Offices

The HAL-PC/HALNet administrative offices are located in the headquarters suite. Accounting and administrative personnel are in the office during regular business hours to help you personally. Ring the call bell beside the service window in the main lobby. Our front desk volunteers are also available to answer your questions about HAL programs and services and to assist with membership and internet applications.
