Identify internal hardware

Jermar Software Corp. has written a great utility, WinDriversBackup (WDB), which will identify all of your Windows driver files and save them to a specified location with two simple mouse clicks.

There are two editions available: WDB Personal, which is freeware (for non-commercial use) and WDB Professional, which is $14.95.

WDB is useful to identify the internal hardware of a computer and then back up the associated drivers. If you ever need to re-install Windows or one driver, it is good to have these backed up.

The personal edition can identify all drivers, even non-Microsoft. It supports all versions of Windows, and works with other computers on a network - you can connect to a remote computer and back up driver files.

The professional edition offers advanced driver version detection, a comparison feature (saved versus current), driver type listing, etc.

You can download both versions at: www.jermar.com/wdrvbck.htm.

The WDB Support and FAQ page is located at: www.jermar.com/wdbfaq.htm.
